One hour before each performance, the Teatro Colón hosts an introductory talk on *Pagliacci* and *Cavalleria rusticana*, presented by Christian Lauría. The aim is to share details about the staging of these two masterpieces of Italian verismo: Ruggero Leoncavallo’s *Pagliacci* and Pietro Mascagni’s *Cavalleria rusticana*, adapted for the stage by Hugo de Ana.
